Providers

To use the app's features, you first need to enable the providers (central banks or fiscal authorities) from which exchange rates will be downloaded.

Providers can be managed from the Providers page, accessible from the page Setup Global Exchange Rates, where multiple providers can be enabled at the same time.

This page displays a list of all currently supported providers, including details such as:

  • General information (e.g., name, country)
  • Reference currency
  • Whether the provider is currently enabled for exchange rate downloads
  • Availability of historical data downloads (time series)

In the list, providers whose reference currency matches the company's currency are highlighted in green, while enabled providers appear in blue.

Enabling a provider is done through the dedicated action that configures the necessary settings for downloading exchange rates.

The provider GLOBAL can be used to download our proprietary exchange rates for 150+ currencies, updated daily blending official and market exchange rates. The GLOBAL exchange rates are always automatically converted in the currency of the current company.

It is also possible, after confirming a warning message, to enable providers for currencies different from the company's set currency. In this case, no automatic conversion is performed except for the GLOBAL provider, and exchange rates are retrieved directly from the provider in its reference currency.

Individual providers typically offer exchange rates only for a limited set of currencies. However, it is possible to activate the Enable GLOBAL Provider configuration in the app setup – this way, in addition to the central bank's exchange rates, our internal exchange rates will be downloaded for all other supported currencies.

Currency Providers

If multiple providers are enabled, you can choose which one to use for each currency when downloading exchange rates. This configuration is managed in the Setup Global Exchange Rates page using the Currency Provider action, where you can specify the provider for each currency that requires setup.
